Rohs Theatre Company

The RTC is our 501c3 Community Theatre Company that strives to brings high quality LIVE theatre performances to the stage in Cynthiana, Ky. We have a long history of quality performances and are always working on the "next big production."

Spring 2026

Our Spring 2026 production is Dearly Departed, by David Bottrell & Jessie Jones. This fun, southern comedy will take the stage at the historic Rohs Opera House in Cynthiana, Kentucky May 8-9 and May 15-17, 2026. There will be five performances.

Set in the 1980s, the Turpin family tries their best to get ready for their father’s funeral while all their other troubles keep popping up and hilariously getting in the way. Rohs Theatre Company veteran Roger Slade is directing this laugh-out-loud play. Our playbill (program) will be a keepsake cardboard fan for waving to pay homage to the many southern funerals that often require some extra breeze.
